Agreement signed with John Deere in Estonia

Danish Agro’s and Vestjyllands Andel’s joint Estonian subsidiary Baltic Agro machinery OÜ has signed an agreement with John Deere in Estonia.

Baltic Agro Machinery OÜ will become dealer of John Deere machinery in Estonia. Group CEO in Danish Agro group and chairman of the board in Baltic Agro machinery, Christian Junker, is satisfied with the agreement.

- We see great perspectives in the deal with John Deere and we are now in a position where we can develop Baltic Agro machinery further in the coming years. We already have a good and constructive collaboration with John Deere in Finland and I look forward to continue the fruitful collaboration in Estonia. We will be able to utilize significant synergies between the two countries when it comes to special knowledge, sales and marketing, says Christian Junker and continues:

- We are already strongly represented in Estonia through our agribusiness activities and we have significant activities within rape seed crushing. By strengthening our machinery activities we now become and even more attractive partner to the Estonian farmers, he says.

Following the new agreement with John Deere it is the plan to increase the number of machinery branches in Estonia.

- Baltic Agro Machinery will be responsible for both sales and follow-up service of machinery and we therefore plan to extend to a total of three branches of sales and service centers. This will take place in Türi in central Estonia, in Tartu in southern Estonia and in Tallinn in the northern part of the country. The number of employees will also be increased, says Christian Junker.
