Danish Agro acquires Danish CLAAS dealer Ringe Maskinforretning A/S
Ringe Maskinforretning A/S is a well-run and large machinery dealer, with a long track record of working closely with local farmers. Danish Agro is to acquire the full shareholding in Ringe Maskinforretning.
Danish Agro's CEO, Christian Junker, is extremely satisfied with the deal:
"Ringe Maskinforretning has extensive experience of CLAAS’ products, and is a recognised, well-established machinery dealer on Funen. The 28 experienced employees are headed by strong management, and the company turned over DKK 109 million in 2016. We are delighted that this deal will ensure that Ringe Maskinforretning becomes part of the strong dealership structure of the future in Denmark. We have enjoyed constructive and mutually trusting dialogue with Hanne Korsdal Andersen, Managing Director and co-owner, and I believe there is considerable potential in the company and its skilled employees," he remarked.
Hanne Korsdal Andersen, who is one of two owners, will continue as Managing Director of the company, and commented:
"It was important for us to ensure the future of a strong Ringe Maskinforretning moving forwards. The deal we have now concluded with Danish Agro is the result of our belief that they can offer the best chances of continued development for the business. That's why we look forward to working closely with them, and to securing the future success of Ringe Maskinforrening."
CEO of Danish Agro Machinery Holding A/S, Jens Skifter, welcomes Hanne Korsdal Andersen and her team on Funen to Danish Agro.
"Ringe Maskinforretning is renowned for its long experience, high quality and considerable expertise. Hanne has developed the business backed by her experienced team of skilled employees. By continuing as Managing Director, she will become part of the future management team of our Danish machinery dealers that we want to develop and expand even further. Our deal with the company will help ensure that level of expertise and know-how is retained within the Danish dealer structure."
